At Ryton Star FC and our club sponsor Sports Starz we believe football should be enjoyed by everyone! Our Fun Football Day gives every child, aged 5-11, a Fun introduction to football. Every girl and boy is welcome, no matter what their ability– and it’s a great way to make new friends, build confidence and learn some new skills! Running alongside a big summer of football for Ryton Star FC and Sports Starz, our action-packed sessions are full of exciting drills and plenty of laughs. Our Fun Football Day’s are designed to boost confidence, teamwork, and fundamental skills both on and off the pitch. Ryton Star Football Club and Sports Starz aim to give every child, no matter their ability, the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful game. Both partners believe every child deserves the chance to thrive, and together, we can make this happen to help create lasting change for young people so they can go on to be the best they can be by offering the right support, to the right place, at the right time. These Fun Football Days ensure our sessions are growing into areas where they are needed most, so every child gets a chance to get involved in the game they love. Children will need outdoor footwear (moulded studded boots or football trainers), sports clothes-weather dependent (including hat, coat gloves etc for wet weather), a packed lunch and a drink. (We can refill water bottles in the pavilion!). Our fun football sessions are delivered by qualified sports coaches who are DBS checked and trained in First Aid and Child Protection procedures. Sessions will be held on the Ryton Recreation Field (Home of Ryton Star FC) in Ryton on Dunsmore.
